The hotel is located in an old, renovated building with a very cozy garden. A very atmospheric place. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. The bed was large, comfortable and smelled of fresh linen.
The breakfast was modest but very tasty. The location couldn't be better, right next to the market square.

Loved everything about this B&B. The check-in is not manned but communications were great and I got in without a hitch. The building is lovely and in a great waterfront location. The room was fitted out to a really high standard. Top hotel level. The breakfast was superb and overall this place just had a great feel to it.

Ystad is a lovely town and the size of the city centre is just right for visitors without a car as everything is within walking distance. Love the small shops and the cobblestone pedestrian areas. There are lots of cafés, galleries and various other cultural sites to visit.

A lovely old town that has plenty of interesting history in the Danish Empire style with later municipal additions. Several museums show the towns past in an entertaining and educational way. Language is not a barrier here and people are welcoming, helpful and most accommodating. A quiet place off season (possibly too quiet for some) it is a great place to relax, wander around and see a special perspective on Sweden if you wish. The weather is key though, sea winds can be cold and so visiting when the season is in full swing (therefore a bit more expensive) is the best option. Transport links are excellent: the train from Copenhagen is an hour, plus buses are easy. Lots to see in the area and the local tourist office are amazing, going above and beyond if not too busy on the day. Good beaches, castles, old churches, tourist shops, tasty seafood - what more could you want!

We only stayed over for one night because otherwise, the drive would have been too far. The old town is beautiful but that is true of many European cities. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit Ystad.

Ystad is one of the old European town in the southern most point of Sweden, surrounded by the Baltic Sea. The roads and lanes inside the town are lovely to walk around. Near by this place we visited to Ales Stenar and Sandhammaren beach, those were the greatest experience.

Ystad is a wonderful town, very attractive medieval streets, interesting museums, a wonderful theatre, and excellent coffee shops and restaurants. The sandy beaches are beautiful. Walking and cycling opportunities all over. The film studio, with all the Wallender memorabilia is really good fun. We went to several restaurants... the Bryggeriet in Långatan is the best!
This place way exceeded my expectations, especially with the low price in mind. Friendly, helpful staff, wonderful interior, extremly comfy beds. You can help yourself with free coffe/tee/drinks at all times, there is a microwave oven and everything you could need. I loved the soap/schampoo/lotion in the bathroom. I strongly recommend a stay here for everyone visiting Ystad.
A cosy little house on a beautiful traditional-looking street in the town centre. Great and quick communication regarding how to get access. Loved the look of the sleeping area -especially the old wooden beams. The stairs were steep which might be a problem for some. The house had all the essentials and I'd book again for sure should I come back to Ystad.
We stayed at house 2 and it was just wonderful. Stylishly furnished, obviously given lots of love, thought and time in decorating it. It was clean and had everything you needed. The hosts were amazing, very responsive and rightfully proud. The area is beautiful, peaceful yet close enough to Ystad. Will definitely stay there again for our next Sweden trip.
I like the charming old house. Feels like back to the old days. The inner garden is cute. The location is very close to the harbour, about 2-3mins walking distance. In the middle of the downtown, made it easy to reach anywhere. I like the hotel is pet friendly that we could live with our dog during the stay. And Iike the cleaness of the room.
Secluded location, but within easy range of Ystad. Rooms are light, super clean and comfortable. Breakfast is superb and lots of space to enjoy breakfast or a book outside. Property just opened 4 days before our stay, owners are really welcoming!
Charming hotel with fully updated facilities. Friendly staff and nice breakfast (although simple relative to some other hotels). Close to the main square and restaurants.
location was very good and the back exit was right in a green area
we couldn’t park in the hotel because it was fully booked but the public parking in the back in cheaper
Very nice hotel with friendly staff/owners. Excellent breakfast. Great location. Good price. Overall, I had a nice time staying here in nice Ystad. Will stay here again!
Good location. Central but not too central where you are getting lots of noise. Nice restaurant and facilities available in the hotel. Breakfast had a good selection
This place was really delightful. Room and decor were wonderful, and the breakfast was very good as well. It was our favorite stay in our two week trip in Sweden.
Extremely cozy, well-designed and newly furbished hotel in an old barn. Exceptionally clean, which was much appreciated considering the shared bathroom.
