Wonderful family-owned hotell that really looks after their guests. They called us to make sure we would arrive safely, telling us we could call them at any time if we had any problems. Good breakfast but no fish and not very much fruit or vegetables. The food standard was generally good and we like being able to make a packed lunch from the breakfast table.

Very good breakfast and also there was an opportunity to get some food (pasta, curyy, drinks, snacks) from the automat and it was really good because we arrived at night. This is a really nice little cosy hotel. Very clean, comfortable bed, silent and nicely decorated. Staff was very helpful and helped us find a better parking at lower cost. Breakfast was well stocked and good variation. Very positive experience.

The hotel is very close to the train station, 5 minutes on foot. The hotel is in the town center and there are several restaurants a few minutes away. There is also a parking space nearby. The breakfast buffet was very good. I liked the decoration, it was cozy and tasteful.

Absolutely outstanding in every way. The location, the staff, the facilities… you name it, this hotel exceeded all expectations. The breakfast was wonderful, with some of the best scrambled eggs we’ve had. I highly recommend this hotel!

Dont miss the Coopermine. Guided tours down into the mine. Walk from city center trough old wooden parts of the city. Take a sneek peek into the yards. Dalarnas Museum also worth visiting. Traditional Swedish hotel near the ski areas with a very cozy setting. Solid breakfast and friendly staff, a perfect place to experience the Swedish winter. Several ski slopes nearby. Friendly staff at reception and in breakfast area. Famous for afternoon waffles.

if you are learning to ski and what the convenience of a resort that has ski hire on site and ski out / in facilities this hotel is amazing , the staff are very professional and helpful , breakfast and evening meals give great options easy to move between resorts on the lifts

We liked the hotel itself and it's ever so friendly staff. The food was great. Dinner and breakfast. Free parking and the quiet surroundings was just what we were looking for. Great place to stay as you have access to lots of places around the lake. And it's very pretty out there.

It’s very family friendly. The kids could ride their bikes around. We stayed at the cabin with a lake view; 2 adults and 2 kids. It was very clean and comfortable. The best part was having a veranda right in front of the lake. The reception has a bowling alley; we had great fun.

We traveled to Rattvik for a gig at Dalhalla. The cabin we booked was clean and spacious - a good sized kitchenette, with pots, pans, a fridge etc. The setting is stunning, as it is up a hill from the town/lake, and so the view from the rooms is beautiful. You are expected to clean your cabin before you leave - which wasn't an issue as cleaning products are provided. There is also an extra charge for linen (which is fine, and makes sense given lots of people bring their own). We took the train to Rattvik and so didn't have a car - the walk from the town centre is about 15-20 minutes and is uphill. Would definitely recommend!

This is a nice place with amazing views. We have been here both in winter and spring. It is perfect for a relaxed extended weekend where you can walk around and enjoy the view with forest-lake combo. The house and its facilities were as advertised. We haven't tried it but the camp also has a sauna close to the lake, which tempts you to try the local custom of hopping into lake after a sauna session. (note that the sauna requires booking)
