Elite Hotel Academia is located in central Uppsala, a 1-minute walk from Uppsala Central Station. Guests can enjoy the rooftop sky bar with city views. The breakfast had a great selection, food tasted good, they had gluten free, lactose free options, organic milk and so on.

This modern-designed hotel is directly across from Uppsala Central Station. Uppsala Concert and Congress Hall is 150 metres away. WiFi and access to a state-of-the-art gym are free. Nice restaurant, remote-work-friendly environment. Gym is comfortable, there is a sauna and a relaxation room but there is no pool in this hotel. Breakfast was amazing. Ice machine in corridors but no fridge in the room. Beds are comfortable, room is neat and clean. Might be the best hotel in Uppsala.

Grand Hotell Hörnan is set in an early 20th-century building, 400 metres from Uppsala Central Station. All rooms include a flat-screen TV, a seating area and free WiFi access. We were in the perfect location, but it was the front desk staff who made our stay. They answered endless questions, helped us find Covid testing for our return, booked taxis, and more. We loved them all.

Dating back to 1930, this intimate hotel is within 5 minutes’ walk of Uppsala Cathedral and Uppsala Castle. Akademihotellet’s fresh rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV, private bathroom and desk. This is a lovely hotel in a charming and well kept building. The staff at reception were particularly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and attractive and very comfortable and the location in town was just great -- in the charming old section very near to the cathedral and other attractions. All at an excellent price!

Located in Uppsala city centre, this hotel offers soundproofed rooms with satellite TV and free WiFi. The hotel staff were great and very helpful and positive. The room and bathroom were good size, comfortable and clean. The beds (two side-by-side twin beds) were very comfortable. The room didn’t have air conditioning but windows were openable and temperature mostly comfortable, with a fan in the closet we used a couple times (iron and ironing board there too). Plenty of room to unpack. There is a “conference room” on the lowest floor which is very comfortable for late night or early morning reading / internet browsing. Our price included both breakfast and evening meal, both very good, especially the breakfasts. The dining spaces were quite crowded but there was adequate, hard-working staff to quickly clear and clean tables, as well as to refill everything. Overflow could also go to the conference room or to some tables outside near the main entrance. The hotel parking spaces were full when we arrived but there is an underground garage (separate business) only 100 meters away which was actually cheaper (165 crowns per 24 hours). The location was very good - about 1 km from the river / beginning of the old town, with the newer main shopping streets and railway station even closer. Uppsala is a wonderful town for a weekend visit. I also recommend a drive down to Sigtuna and some of the nearby castles / palaces.

This was our second time staying at this hotel, It is easy to get to, very well maintained and you can walk to everything. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and full of options. There even a gluten-free bread station, The hotel was staff are super friendly and helpful. A great place to stay.
